Freemasonry is the world's oldest and best fraternity that is dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of God. Based on the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth, Freemasonry is a way of life that is concerned with moral and spiritual values.

Every Mason is expected to do his duty to God through faithful devotion to his own religious beliefs, and is encouraged to practice the everyday virtues of humility, kindness, compassion, charity, and justice. Freemasonry is not a religion, nor is it a substitute for one. It is also non-political, and discussions of politics and religion at Masonic meetings are forbidden.

Freemasonry is not a secret society; it is, however, prudent and discreet. Its oldest and best-known 'open' secret is that while it does not solicit, its doors are open to men of any race or religion, who profess a belief in the Supreme Being and whose good character and sound judgment precedes them. It is therefore often claimed that Freemasonry takes good men and makes them better.
